The Holistic Moms Network
I am a co-leader of the Monouth County Chapter of HMN. The Holistic Moms Network is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization connecting parents who are interested in holistic health and green living. We encourage moms to trust their instincts, parent from the heart, use their innate sense of what is best for their children, live in balance with the Earth, and learn about the pros and cons of all healthcare and parenting options. We have about 70 member in our vibrant local community. There are over 140 chapters worldwide.

- Northeast Organic Farming Association (www.nofanj.org)offers outreach and technical services to organic gardeners and farmers, and to conventional farmers interested in incorporating organic practices into their production systems. NOFA/NJ's educational programs include a newsletter, a growers-only newsletter on specialized topics, an annual educational conference, meetings on agricultural topics, exhibits at fairs and events throughout the state, and distribution of fact sheets and other publications.

- Andrea Beaman (www.andreabeaman.com) a nationally known holistic health counselor who successfully healed her “incurable” thyroid disease with health-promoting foods, exercise and other natural. She’s also an author and host of Wise Up.
- Anne Louise Gittleman (www.annlouise.com) health guru, weight loss/detox expert, author, spokesperson, and natural foods icon. She’s most famous for her New York Times bestseller The Fat Flush Plan and my favorite book Your Body Knows Best among many others.
- Christina Pirello, MFN, CCN (www.christinacooks.com) one of America’s preeminent authorities on natural and whole foods who at 26 was diagnosed with terminal leukemia that had already advanced to an acute stage. After fourteen months of eating beans, grains and vegetables, her cancer was gone. She is now the host of her own Emmy award winning PBS show “Christina Cooks” teaching whole foods cooking classes, conducting lifestyle seminars and lecturing all over the United States about the powerful role food plays in our lives. She has written several books and with her husband Robert owns Christina Trips, a travel company specializing in healthy vacations to exotic destinations.

- Sally Fallon Morell (www.westonaprice.org) the President and Treasurer of the Weston A. Price Foundation, is a journalist, chef, nutrition researcher, homemaker, and community activist.
